What a dimension means
When you look at total revenue for the month, you see one big number. A dimension breaks that number into pieces so you can compare them. Without dimensions, you are flying blind. With them, you can spot that one product is carrying the whole store, or that one ad channel is burning cash.Core dimensions in Brandstack

Here are three common ways D2C owners use dimensions in Brandstack:ROAS by channel
See which ad platform gives you the best return. You might discover Meta Ads has a ROAS of 4.2 while Google Ads sits at 2.8, so you shift budget toward Meta.
Contribution margin by SKU
Find which products actually make money after fulfillment costs. A top-selling product might have a thin margin, while a slower mover is highly profitable.
Net revenue by country
Spot regional winners and losers. A state with high gross sales might also have high return rates or expensive shipping, making it less attractive than it looks at first.
You can combine two or more dimensions in a Brandstack report. For example, look at contribution margin by SKU and then further break it down by campaign to see which ads are promoting your most profitable products.
